WEFOOT® Air Grip Sports Crew Socks

I've been getting back into football recently and kept having to take long breaks between games due to blisters and a black toe nail. I tried different shoes and cheaper grip socks but didn't work. First game I wore WEFOOT socks I was finally able to play without suddenly being in pain in the middle of a game.

Best grip socks ever

I received a pair of the white Air Grip socks in size Medium (I wear a US 10D in Adidas boots, for reference) in November 2024. Over the past 11 months, I’ve worn them about once a week while playing both indoor on a 3G turf pitch and outdoor on grass.

First my positives: These socks have the best grip of any grip socks I’ve used. The grip pads on both the inside and outside are excellent! The internal grip makes a noticeable difference in stability. I think it’ll be tough to go back to socks that don’t have that. In addition, the customer service was responsive and helpful when I reached out with questions.

Now for my negatives: I wasn’t a fan of the material used on the bottom of the sock where the grips are attached. The sock is made from a mix of fabrics, but the one used on the sole didn’t work for me. It was hard to clean and dried stiff. I washed and dried these the same as all other soccer socks I own, but these are the only socks I had this issue with. On the other hand, the material used around the throat of the sock was excellent. If that had been used on the bottom as well, it would have made a big difference.

After about 48 wears, I started to see holes developing near the ankle, right where the fabric transitions from the foot to the leg. While that’s not unexpected with frequent use, it’s something to note.

I paid $27 for the pair, which breaks down to just over 50 cents per wear. If the price had been closer to the $20 mark, I’d feel the durability matched the cost more appropriately.
